GIANT LEAP is a fast-talking, foul-mouthed comedy-drama in which a group of writers are tasked with creating the crowning line of their careers: Neil Armstrong's first words as America stages the 1969 Moon landing...at a movie studio in Hollywood.

​

Personal dreams, political machinations and naked ambition all will be aired, but beneath the bluster of the rocket-fuelled, booze-soaked exchanges lies a tragic and sinister darkness - secrecy, deception and blackmail - bywords for Nixon's America.

​

GIANT LEAP examines the stories we tell ourselves to justify our actions, the role of myth in a nation's conception of itself, and the powerful narcotic that lies in promising each individual their own American Dream.
